I have unwanted roots and runners of bamboo beneath and between the slabs around my swimming pool. After laboriously removing several barrowloads of them I wonder if there is an easier permenant solution ?
Can you help me please ?

Oh poor you, you can try digging it out but situated where it is it will keep coming back, best to cut down the canes to ground level in late winter if you still have any and apply a glyphosate-based weedkiller to the new young growth in late spring and early summer, you may have to apply several treatments.
