I have ants in some garden compost,is it still safe to use for potting up plants????????

Your compost needs watering and a good turn and stir - ants dislike damp, frequently disturbed conditions.

Ants will lead aphids to plants so the aphids do the work for them, I ve read if you see ants on your plants get rid of the ants.
