Vinca minor 'Atropurpurea' - 2014

Vinca minor 'Atropurpurea' - 2014 (Vinca minor)

Mat-forming ground cover for shady sites, the long stems rooting when they touch the ground. Not rampant, but just keep an eye on it, and reduce it if it gets ideas above its station.

Beautiful colour, mine is doing well this year, and smothering other plants near it. Going to have to do something about it very soon.

Michaella - I usually check on its 'progress' during the spring tidy-up, and reduce it then if it's spreading too far.

Thank you, I will deal with mine hopefully this week, I also find it quite difficult to pullout.

Love the colour of this one, thought I had purchased it, turned out to be the wrong plant......well a blue Vinca instead.
