Tricyrtis formosana (Tricyrtis formosana (Toad Lily))

Second of the Toad Lillies to bloom this season.
The only bind is that I'm constantly having to check them for Lily Beetle.

I'm glad you mentioned that Meanie because I went out and bought a new plant after seeing your last photos , One plant from which I have made 5 new plants as it had lots of babies growing round the bottom ,I've planted it in gravel ( except for the babies they are in pots ) hopefully the gravel will help to ward the Lily beetle off ...

Don't forget to protect them from slugs as well!

Which one did you get?

haven't seen a single lily beetle this year. Looks like they learnt their lesson, lol.
I keep checking for flowers on mine - but can't see anything yet.

Patience Kasy - I still have a couple with no sign of buds. But thirteen out of fifteen different species/cultivars isn't too bad.

I am patient - I know everything in my garden is late because it is shady.
Thirteen out of fifteen - o wow! well done.

Do you spray or not into that? If you do, Provado is the death of lily beetles!

They're easily picked off Tet, but not too rampant anyway. If they were they would be blasted!!!!
