Tetrapanax papyrifera 'Rex'

Tetrapanax papyrifera 'Rex' (Tetrapanax papyrifer (Rice paper plant))

Doing well in the greenhouse. They will go in to large pots later, or possibly even in the ground. Hardy to -12C once established. They make a huge jungly foliage plant, so great for tropical themed areas. I don't know why I have them...but I just fancied them!

It's your sense of adventure!
I like them and hope they do well.

Thanks WR! It was seeing Dottydaisy's that got me started with these. I really love jungly themed gardens, but up here it isn't easy to achieve that look as big stuff needs sun and warmth. If I had a big poly tunnel......;)

I'm in two minds about where to put these....but I will have to make a decision eventually. For now, they are happy in the warm!
