I'll say, 'Good Luck'! now then, Meanie...it's got to win something, even if they have to introduce a new category :))))
...which might not be a bad idea, given all your other exotics!!!
All the best!!

Stevie the T you are naughty! I wish I had a flower that changed every two hours.
How about time lapse photos??

20 Aug, 2011

Time lapse sounds good

20 Aug, 2011

20 Aug, 2011

looking fantastic now, that plant was a really good find! :o)

20 Aug, 2011

It's going in the local village flower show 6d.

Thanks Karen.

Steve - I remember young Constance well! What happened to her?

At the right time of day a lot of plants will change a lot in a couple of hours Sticki. Watch the spring flowering Irises as the heat of the sun hits a new bud.

It was a hell of a good find Plantaholic!

20 Aug, 2011

I hope you will tell us how you get on - and if you don't win I will be amazed!

20 Aug, 2011

Ah yes the Constance Elliot, unfortunately I didnt take it in soon enough and it died. I did however pick up another smaller one, yes from morrisons for £1.79 which hasnt done anything.
I do agree a couple of hours can make all the difference.

I think mybe we should be able to award prizes each season for the best in different categories but I think you have definately won best exotic flower

20 Aug, 2011

I agree - with awarding prizes and meanie winning the exotics. Steve the T you might win the best biking story!?

20 Aug, 2011

Thank you Meanie for the answer 1st prize it will get believe me if not its fixed.

27 Aug, 2011

oh your wall! i thought you meant the one at the show.

im very sorry to hear that. supposed to have mother in law round tomorrow ~ would rather come and help build a wall. we had thunderstorms last night ~ maybe that caused it??

27 Aug, 2011

Oh what a shame Meanie did I miss some thing about a wall then.

27 Aug, 2011

It's Sues wall = my problem!!!!

27 Aug, 2011

Ahrr I see.

27 Aug, 2011

could you run a class in how to do dry stone walling and let the students mend it while you supervise?

27 Aug, 2011

I'd need to learn myself first!

27 Aug, 2011
