I've always called it lamb's ear- maybe a Welsh thing? lol

I've always called it lamb's ear- maybe a Welsh thing? lol (Stachys byzantina (Lambs' ears))

Mam planted this- it's a doer! It's thriving and flowering constantly, we're deadheading regularly and are hoping it keeps going a while longer. Mexican orange blossom to the left, which is stunning, and astillbes in the front which I can't wait to get going. Not sure what the spiky purple plant is on the right, but the flower parts are darkening from bright pink to deep purple and it's gorgeous- picked it up for a couple of quid in morrisons!
