Skimmia japonica 'Marlot'

Skimmia japonica 'Marlot' (Skimmia japonica (Skimmia))

I went to the Garden Centre for some bits and pieces for the new greenhouse - and spent my vouchers on this beautiful Skimmia...and two more Heucheras!

It's great! Must look out here for this one, I prefer this to the dark red varieties.

I got 'Fragrant Cloud' last year - it's similar in its flowers, David.

Thank You, I've noted this down, too. :-)

You're welcome! I had a Skimmia x confusa 'Kew Green', as well, but it got overwhelmed by my thugs of Japanese Anemones, and didn't make it. That's a cream-flowered one, too.

I was a bit extravagant - but it was one of those situations when you see a great plant, and if you go away and think about it, when you go back, they've sold out!

So - it came home with me! :-)) I shall enjoy it - and make sure it doesn't meet the same fate as the 'Kew Green' one!
