Schizostylis coccinea (out of season)

Schizostylis coccinea (out of season) (Schizostylis coccinea)

This should not be flowering in March!
I grow schizostylis (now renamed hesperantha) in planting baskets at the side of my pond, over-wintering them in a cold greenhouse. This winter has been so mild, this one has carried on flowering.

Lovely colour nice to see a bit of colour side of a pond.

We grow these, but not in water, and they do very well, we have them around our tiny barrel pond.
