Yes it was in a pot, but I had another one killed by vine weevils this year, and it was in the ground :( I couldn't believe it ...

Vine weevils have been a nuisance for us too Hywel. I emptied out several pots and they were full of grubs. Gerry soaked the rest of the pots with some vine weevil killer.
Lovely plant to have in flower now.

Mine is looking great, but no sign of a flower on it. I don't think these really work this far north. But it makes a nice foliage plant anyway.

I agree K......we saw a beautiful Saxifrage with huge fleshy leaves the other day at the GC which I would have liked, but OH said to think about it, it was very expensive, and rather large too.

I found another one today, really tiny, but it has the bright pink flowers, so I am crossing my fingers that it could be Black Ruby, which I thought I had lost, only time will tell, I have seen some beauties.....this could be my next crush lol
