Hi Annella, Simbad has put me onto a website selling lots of varieties of these ornamental Elders, variegated ones included. Love them, so robust and dont mind a hard pruning, fast growing and great leaves :-)

I've never pruned this Moti, except a few wayward stems, think springs the best time, just worried about loosing the flowers??, must have a google :-))

Yes it is rather large isn't it, now I don't want to prune it DD just love those flowers :-)

I bought 3 today from that site Kathy/Annella. One is grey/green and yellow variegated, the next red/black leaves and the third one has grape like bunches of red berries:

They all sound lovely Dawn, look forward to the piccies, I bought 'Madonna' back in early spring its doing great, not supposed to be too fast growing, we'll see :-))
I'm off to have another look have a couple of spaces on the hillside :-)))
