Rosa glauca - 2010

Rosa glauca - 2010 (Rosa glauca)

Although mainly grown for its foliage, this rose carries small 'dog rose' type flowers for a couple of weeks followed by hips in the autumn. This is growing in my foliage garden

Yes, I love this rose, but needs a wild garden area I feel!

Yours is flowering early, ours is way behind...........I love this rose, as you say grown for the foliage.

I visited another garden in the county this morning and theirs is in flower too. Must be our milder climate in sunny Berkshire!
