Pulsatilla vulgaris - 2014

Pulsatilla vulgaris - 2014 (Pulsatilla vulgaris)

Our native pasque flower. For free-draining soil in full sun. This is a native on alkali soils, and I have struggled to get it going on my slightly acid soil. It is placed where it can get its roots in the scalping under the drive, in a very stony piece of soil, and has now been growing happily for ten years

10 years! I had no idea it survives for that long.
