I used to worry that the frosts would damage the very early blossom but it always blossoms early and produces loads of plums. I think it looks gorgeous at this time of year, thankyou.

My OHs favourite fruit......if only we had the space for one.

They have quite slim trunks but very long whippy branches. It's ok in the side of the garden if you don't mind the branches arching over about 6ft or so of the garden.
