Fascinating feathery bits on the front end! Lovely!

Ha! Your flowers have a funny color now.

Strangely different aren't they Karen.

Alex - you'd be a funny colour too if you'd been locked out in the frost all night!

I saw one of these in a shopping centre a couple of weeks ago Meanie, I fell in love with it, it was outside which struck me as odd for such a delicate looking flower I looked closer to see what it's name was and then saw the price tag it was £ 50 ... needless to say it didn't come home with me ......

like a sweet pea crossed with a christmas cactus??

£59!!!!! That's outrageous! As I recall mine was £6.50 last year.

It's of the same family as Sweet Pea Sticki.

bit more spectacular though, does this have a scent?

7 Dec, 2011

No scent at all Sticki.........

It's about a metre now.
It will have to come in soon...........

the advert on the right of this page says £12 from burncoose ~ better than 59!!

8 Dec, 2011

My miss-type there - it should have read "£50!!!"

Wring time of year to be buying one of these though.........

8 Dec, 2011

GCs only seem to sell what is currently in flower these days.

8 Dec, 2011

That's true - one of the reasons that I prefer nurseries!

I found one at 'Garden Best buys' £8.95 in a 3 ltr pot ,I don't know anything about this company ! I'm glad I didn't order it if it's the wrong time of the year ... It's a good job we have you to keep us on the right road Meanie :o))

8 Dec, 2011

couldnt agree more amy!!

8 Dec, 2011

If you have space indoors it'll be fine Amy!
Be earlier next year too, and £8.95 for a 3ltr pot seems reasonable.

I'm not sure if we will have space before Xmas , we have the family coming with children plus we need to clear an area for the Christmas tree . I may have to look again afterwards ........
