Thanks everyone..... apparently years ago, Runner Beans were grown for their flowers...you can still get all types of colours, and the beans were an added bonus...:o)

I love the taste of French Beans and the one I've grown for the last 2 years had a beautiful lilac/blue flower but I couldn't find any seeds this year so grown another variety. Looking forward to seeing the shade of the flowers but I was a bit late sowing them!
