It looks like a squirrel was eating it. LOL!

When I lived in Fremont the squirrels used to get a lot of the avocados off the large tree (from the roof of the house).

Huh,Maybe. After it ripened I cut it in half. VERY creamy...but bland flavor.
I guess wind or animal knocked it off so soon,it was never going to ripen right.

I'm surprised you ate that avocado. I would never eat an avocado that doesn't have all the skin.

I used to get the purple avocados off the trees at the convent in Mission San Jose (I can't remember the name). They were excellent!

The large avocado tree at The Hub in Fremont next to that old carriage house. It has such incredible fruit. I got fruit a few times. They were so buttery, creamy and very flavorful!

I have to check that out. Its like a mini park at the Hub. With GBOP and some Philodendrons for the jungle look.

It faces Fremont Blvd next to the Elephant Walk Restaurant. The tree is very old and produces very good avocados. The tree is very large so it's very difficult to get fruit. I got fruit on the ground once and another time workers were trimming the tree and gave some of the avocados. Those avocados were amazing!

I actually haven't been to The Hub in Fremont in years. I drove by it last year, though.
