Narcissus Bulbocodium Conspicuus (Narcissus bulbocodium (Hoop-petticoat Daffodil))

These really are the smallest Narcissae ever.

I bought some of these last year, but have'nt seen any sign of them at all, looking at this photo it seems they don't have many leaves? speaking in general your bulbs are usually ahead of mine arn't they, so maybe they might suprize me still - i hope!

They have thin little leaves. I nearly weeded them because they looked like grass, then saw the bulb beneath and realised what it was. They came through really early and then sat there through all the frost and snow, and now decided to flower. I thought they were going to die but they didn't.

That is delightful. I do like that we can look at what others have grown and hear how well they do even if it is a few seasons ago.

What else?

See who else is growing Narcissus bulbocodium (Hoop-petticoat Daffodil).

See who else has plants in genus Narcissus.

This photo is of "Narcissus bulbocodium conspicuus" in Chrispook's garden
