My first ever edible banana bloom. (Musa acuminata (Blood Banana)x balbisiana.)

Saw this today--I got in June 2014. Ice Cream variety. I hope it ripens before winter. Could be a close call.

Wow....how long will they take before they are ready?

I think my best guess Sandra is around October. 110-150 days after flowering said one source.
It stays mild and warm here until December. It used to be the third week of November we got cold..now it might be into late December until a frost that does something.
