And the blossoms in the spring, aren't they a fabulous all round tree?

They really are, and this is a great photo too!

Willow.....bless her 'little' heart....leaps up on to my little crab apple and pulls the apples (and small branches) off. Yesterday I caught her pulling apart my Gingko tree, and there are several more holes in my lawn. Grrrrrr.....

I spied a Blackbird taking off with an apple on my tree yesterday they might soon disappear :o(

Thanks Karen, I can see you spending lots of time chasing Willow, all round your garden, I bet she loves it!

Don't know what's happened to my blackbirds, haven't seen them all summer. They're probably at yours Amy eating your crab apples....:)).

They look tempting to munch Hb, if I was a blackbird that is!

Ha, ha!

She had me flat on my back today in the country park. As she went towards a dog, and I went to hold her, I caught my foot on a small stump and down I went, like a stone on my back! Luckily there was a lot of peat and needles on the ground...only a small graze! I was still holding on to her though!!

Oh Karen, hope you're all okay!! Having a larger dog is really different to our little JRs eh? Our first two dogs were Golden Retrievers, beautiful girls, they were like having extra adults around, whereas Lottie is like a very small child..lol!

I'm fine thank you! The Lab is definitely more 'me'. Molly is so stubborn and disobedient, and the constant barking at anything at all drives me nuts. Also, on a walk she growls and snarls at every other dog we meet, which is embarrassing. Poor thing, she can't help her breed, and she is extremely good with Willow. She plays with her and they even share a bed in the Lounge. Willow isn't nearly as intelligent, but she is so much more biddable.....just extremely excitable and young at the moment!...she has never barked once, the whole 7months we've had her. She's growled twice when she's been frightened, that's all. When we go out walking she wants to jump on every passer by and every other dog, which is exhausting. But she will get calmer in time I'm sure. :)

Oh Karen, I know what you mean, I'm sure Lotts suffers with OCD as far as balls and toys are concerned.....she is constantly 2 paces in front of me staring with her head on one side, the only to stop her is to put them all away and then she's staring at where they've gone......help!!
Just like Molly, she dislikes any dog even when they are just a speck in the distance....grumbling and mumbling, I know she's being protective, but so antisocial.......the upside is that I don't know what I would have done this last year without her and she is so loving and so much fun, there's certainly never a dull moment with a Jack Russell is there....:))

No, they are definitely not dull!! Molly s so strange....she has to have whatever toy first, then she taunts Willow in to a tug of war....now...if Willow manages to get the prize, Molly immediately behaves as though the toy no longer exists! She goes about looking for it as though she just cannot accept that Willow won! The puppy can poke her face with it, and she just looks the other way, refusing to look the toy until I remove it from Willow, then it becomes visible to her again! Absolutely hilarious and quite weird!

The toy obsession can be quite wearing sometimes can't it!
