A garden flower photo (Kerria japonica (Japanese rose))

This is a lovely old fashioned plant. My granny used to grow this when I was a child and my mother brought a piece of it to our garden. I have taken cuttings of that but left them in the last place I worked. (Whew) I wonder where it got it's common name of 'Jew's Mallow'.

What else?

See who else is growing Kerria japonica (Japanese rose).

See who else has plants in genus Kerria.

This photo is of "Pleniflora" in Reebeesfleurs's garden
