Well we did'nt sow any of these this year and this has come up in the same place it was last year, so it has either re-grown from the base (which i did'nt think could happen) or more likely self seeded it's self in the exact same place... but yet no where else in this bed! either way it is nice to enjoy the second time around!

oh! no flowers David?.... that is strange... you know that they are the tree type?... they don't just flower once they have little branches that each have a flower on the end... so buds are much smaller....you sure? i would have thought they would have flowered by now.... mine are all but finished..and OldG... this is the only one that came back... i think i pulled the others out when clearing up during autumn.. this one i left in as i collected the seed from it....and i just cut it back once i had the seed as i had already dug over this bed and planted my spring bulbs... so David the seed i sent you was from the same plant that you see here... i wonder if there is any relivance to this coming back and yours not flowering??? mmmmm any sunflower experts out there that may know the answers that we seek?????
