What a lovely surprise for you....

Apparently they're related to roses Shirley, you can see it sometimes can't you? Most of mine seem to be 'rivale' types, I really do have no more room for geums and will have to be strong when I go to Gardeners World live this month. My son in law is taking us in his car, just in case I see lots of stuff I have to buy (as if). The family will spend most of their time at the Good Food Show part as the ticket allows you to enjoy both, leaving me free to wander to my heart's content and take lots of pics too:-)))

Lovely colour!

Louisa - isn't it strange how plants long forgotten can suddenly show up again?

Pp - that sounds a winning combination .....

Dotty - indeed it was (is)!

Ba - 'just in case' you see something you have to buy ... obviously you will! Have just sent you a PM ... :o)

Thanks Sheila - considering the chats I've been having on GoY about Geums, it's quite ironic to think I had no idea what this is!

That's good news San ... this one has grown quite tall now ... shall have to stake it before the rain falls tomorrow!

yes thats the only trouble they get flatterned dont they, upe to now with my plants being slow this year they arent tall enough to get flattered yet, thankfully, i would love them green wire suports but rather expensive when you need a few, so canes and string here lol

I don't have fancy plant supports either San ... cane in the centre of the plant usually hides it well!
