It's new Louise, I'm really really chuffed with it. The leaves are lovely and bright yellowish green and the flower is really this colour. Much nicer than Samobor which I always find a bit 'dingy'.

I have Samobar and the flower colour can't compete with this at all, the leaf colour on this is appealing too :-))

I know, I'm going to gradually swap all my samobors for this as it grows and multiplies. I love the colours! Shame I only have the one, but phaeum is usually very quick to fill out....

That leaf colour is amazing.......

AA, the shiny leaf in the foreground is a choisya...sorry for the confusion. the phaeum leaf can just be seen behind...similar colour but greener and not shiny....you probably knew that....sorry!

Oops...I meant the phaeum leaf colour Karen.....its shape when full grown will compliment the choisya nicely........a pic would be nice when it is more developed.!

Nice...lovely colour! I agree - much nicer than Samobar!

Am I allowed to suggest another one that you'll really, really love? It's called 'Margaret Wilson' and the colour is lighter, but the leaves....they're the beauty. They're lime green with paler veining. I'll post photos later, see what you think. :-)) In the meantime....check it out in your new book! lol.

B...could you help me....I read up about peloponnesiacum and it says in the book that it dies down to dormancy in the summer. My plant which I thought was the same as your photo of peloponnesiacum doesn't do this, so I thought it might actually be Philippe Vapelle....(I seem to recall buying this one some time). Can you have a look at my pic of Philippe Vapelle - I renamed it - and see if you think it really is peloponnesiacum? Annella says she is sure it isn't Philippe Vapelle because she has that and it's not like this one (I sent her a baby of mine when I thought it was Peloponnesiacum). sorry to be so confusing...hope this makes some sense to you! Hope you can help!
