Fatsia Japonica Berries

Fatsia Japonica Berries (Fatsia japonica (Japanese aralia))

I grew Fatsia in all my Scottish gardens. Sometimes the wind shredded the leaves, but even when it survived, it never thrived. It certainly never produced Berries. They are really striking aren’t they? Do the birds take them?

Yes Karen, when the berries have ripened from green to black and they are a good food source for birds.
