Erigeron karvinskianus

Erigeron karvinskianus (Erigeron karvinskianus (Fleabane))

I love these little daisies - they flower from May right through until late autumn. I have them everywhere in my garden - I encourage them!

I have some of these too. They don't take much encouraging do they?

Not really, but I am trying to get them right along a very long border as an edging and they seed into the middle just to be difficult!

I am nasty to mine in the spring - I chop them with shears. They come back forgivingly, though!

Your border will have a nice bright edging. Such an underrated flower.

They sell them in the GCs for £2.50 for a tiny pot and £5 for a bigger one - I could be a millionaire!

Near Taunton there's a famous garden - Hestercombe - which has a wide flight of steps - they let these Erigerons seed into the crevices and the 'Daisy steps' are famous! The other plant they have everywhere is Corydalis ochraleuca. Both are in walls, in paving cracks, just everywhere! Pretty...

I have these in my lawn (well the greenish thing I laughingly call a lawn); no idea where they came from but I think they look pretty so I just leave them to it.

Are you sure, Newkid? They are bigger than lawn daisies, and a different plant. They tend to seed into cracks and walls, rather than into the grass. The photo doesn't really show them properly.
