That is lovely and so much more 'normal'. I would not want to wish your life away but roll on summer. Is this a scented one.

I really like this one Barbara when you see a carpet its beautiful.

No, I don't think it's scented...just very pretty! I live in hope that the plants I put in will spread. I might get a few more - they 'go' so well with the snowdrops.:-))

Our local nurseries were selling them off at a £1.00 so we bought one or two...

What a bargain! I haven't had time to go to GCs, although I have some garden vouchers to spend.

Something to look forward to in the spring.....

Yes, indeed. I have to wait and see if anything rots from being 'drowned' but otherwise, I shall enjoy spending them. I haven't really got a lot of time to go plant hunting at the moment, but if I get a spare morning, I shall use it! ;-)

I'm trying to get a collection of white coum, I've got quite a spread of white hederifolium that flower in Autumn under my silver birch trees, but white coum aren't so easy to get hold of.

I'd like to get more planted -there are three under the ash tree now, and they seem 'settled'. :-)

Barbara, sometimes the garden centres sell them off really cheap once they have finished flowering. I've bought them for as little as a £1.00 a pot. Bought a whole tray full once. Just being in the right place at the right time.!!

I looked when I went on Tuesday. No luck! :-(

I've been lucky before nearer the end of march as people dont like buying plants that have finished flowering. but when they can be really cheap I dont mind waiting.
the white one is a nice change from the pink.

I'll keep looking, as I'd like to plant more of them, and I know they 'take' better from plants rather than dry corms. :-)
