Pity you didn't order it - it really is a stunner, Dd.

I know Spritz, I should have done, if I see a good sized one locally I will buy it, because the three of the ones that are on order are small rooted cuttings, which we will grow on before they make it to their permanent positions ( lost so many plants by planting small).

I have to agree - I tend to go for larger Clems now. I did manage to grow a viticella on before I planted it, though. It cost me all of £1.49!! :-D)

What else?

See who else is growing Clematis cirrhosa.

See who else has plants in genus Clematis.

This photo is of "Clematis cirrhosa 'Lansdowne Gem'" in Spritzhenry's garden
