Clematis chiisanensis

meanie

By Meanie

Clematis chiisanensis (Clematis chiisanensis)

Finally, a Clematis that I really want! It would have to be super vigorous though wouldn't it!
Growing in the shady garden at Oxfords botanic gardens today.

Pleasure really.

you are in a daring mood tonight mr meanie.

i am very tempted. noticed today ~ now its end of september ~ that one flower bed gets even less sun than i thought ~ less than an hour and that when the sun shines all day!!! in september ~ hopeless isnt it.

28 Sep, 2011

Well it was a lovely bright day, what more could you ask for.

28 Sep, 2011

It is tempting though...............
Poppylover - that every day should be the same!

28 Sep, 2011

that is quite nice yes..

28 Sep, 2011

dont the botanical gardens sell the seeds?

im hoping your new super penthouse/glass house will be selling seeds.

28 Sep, 2011

ha ha..... but that would be boring!

28 Sep, 2011

and too hot to work in.

28 Sep, 2011

Surreylad - I'm not generally a Clematis fan, but this is nice!

No, they don't Sticki! And I'm finding it hard to keep my hand from grabbing some too..........

28 Sep, 2011

It would be perfect! It can rain at night if it must!

28 Sep, 2011

couldnt you just happen to be there when the seeds are ripe and they just happen to fall into your hands?

28 Sep, 2011

Not the done thing!

28 Sep, 2011

shame.

28 Sep, 2011

Unbelievably, they suffered a spate of plant thefts! That really is out of order!

28 Sep, 2011

that is not on.

28 Sep, 2011

Not at all. I find that particularly sad........

28 Sep, 2011

The most unlikely people are culprits of seed theft! Lovely little old ladies with deep handbags!

28 Sep, 2011

do they have anyone who watches out for theft?

28 Sep, 2011

You have to hope so.
They would be the same ones who push past you as if you're dirt Poppylover!

28 Sep, 2011

Beautiful flowers!

29 Sep, 2011
