If ever there was an argument to be made for planting too closely together, then that is it. What a great effect!

Thanks! Mediterranean Fan Palm is a clustering palm...some of the trunks have been cut our or it would have many more trunks. There's hundreds of large old clumps of this palm throughout Balboa Park.
