It was this that foxed a few of the visitors to Spritzhenry's garden last year . . . bet Tetrarch and Scotsgran remember that?!

Thanks all, it was very popular years ago, the must have plant, like Heucheras have become, we need some new seed as this has changed colour from the original one, but you do not see it for sale......

I have a few that have seeded themselves in my "wildflower" patch . . . I've never done it, but could see if I could save some seed? Do you usually save seed from your plant (it's still pretty!)?

We never save the seed, as it does not come true, we just let the plants seed themselves around , we need to get back to the original seed now as these are throw backs, but still pretty as you say, and we would not like to be without it, brings back very happy memories.....

Was your original one not like any of the ones in the boxes to the right of these messages?? (bit pricey though!)

Sheila they all vary slightly because of the soil, some are more blue than mauve, and they get very leggy the older they become.
Nana a mild winter and they will come back, Motty what have you done with it lol
