Is this a Ceratostigma? I have one, C willmottiana, it is a deeper shade of blue. Pretty at this time of year.

Yes, Ceratostigma is hardy here in the UK. We normally cut it back very hard in early Spring.
I saw one in a garden yesterday where the owner had trained the central, longer stems up a trellis! Mine is spreading madly (maybe 4ft wide and high), so will trim the sides today and see if I can do the same.
