Anybody some fresh 'strawberries'? (Arbutus unedo (Strawberry tree))

Yesterdey I went for a walk with my friends - and spotted this delicious 'strawberries'. I don't know if they are edible, but they look so nice and ripe:) Have seen them before - but never so nice and red - probably birds have them first:)

They are edible raw but leave "an after taste" in the mouth! unedo is Latin for "eat one" meaning you can only eat one.

Great plant though!
