Amsonia tabernaemontana

Amsonia tabernaemontana (Amsonia tabernaemontana (Blue dogbane))

Rather an unusual plant - I like it and it fits in the front bed scheme.

Didn't see it, unfortunately, Mookins. Mine are in my flowerbed, not a greenhouse, though!

Angie - I got three this year via mail order and they seem very happy. I can let you know where I got them if you want to know? I have seen seeds for sale as well - so they can't be difficult to grow, I would imagine.

Yes, that's lovely. Similar colour of flower - mine a bit paler I think - but yours had green stems and the one I ordered has dark stems which look rather nice.

The stems are coming up fast now, and they look dark. I can't remember the name of the new one. I'll get to find the label at some point....maybe...
