Adenium obesum - Desert Rose (Adenium obesum - Desert Rose)

My Desert Rose is almost in full bloom. I moved it to this spot so I could get a better photo. Photo taken May 24, 2012.

My favourite! I now have two little baby Desert Roses, and one of them bloomed a few weeks ago. So lovely!

Yes, they are one of my favorite flowering plants.

I had two more, my white with a hint of pink and ice pink varieties died this past winter. I'm still trying to figure out why. This past winter was very dry and one of the warmest one record which is perfect weather for Adenium.

That does seem strange, but I know from experience that gardening can be full of challenges and things that leave you asking why?

That's for sure! lol! :>)

Luckily, Adenium hybrids are cheap and available (all year) at any big box store's garden center and nurseries.
