Gardening still in full swing. Right now I’m waiting for the WIND to stop so I can do some weed spraying, then I’ll refill this garden bed I’m making at Granny’s with soil.

Arrgh! Soil! It’s taking over the yard! This morning we ordered 4 cubic metres of soil and it arrived within the hour (amazingly). SO now It’s covering half the driveway and I can’t wait to see Dad’s face when he sees it tonight… oh, no, I think Mum and I are going to be in trouble!!!

Any Ideas what to plant in Granny’s garden bed guys? It’s pretty much in full shade and (typically of early spring – see blog 14/8/2009) the weather is freezing!

Hello Pip ~
If you need more advice about your shade planting, maybe put a question on GoY, which might get you answers quickly.

In Britain we have very strong winds, so we know what you mean about windy days !

Good luck with your garden project :o)

Yes VERY windy here too Pip. Good luck with all that earth moving, don't suppose Dad will mind as long as he hasn't got to move it! Good luck with the project, please can we see some pics, before and after.

I hope it warms up a bit for you soon. Being cold is so miserable.
