The photo is a bit deceiving... I placed a red daylily in the center of a small hosta :)

Sensational flower and colour....Daylilies are one of my favourites.....next to Dahlias...:>)

I did wonder for a second - have never heard of variegated daylily leaves, but certainly would be appealing as the foliage is one of the attractions for me as it is.
