TT - the water level is well down again. I will get it repaired later this year after all my visitors have been. Took another booking today for a small group next month

Glad to know the bookings are coming in well. :o)
You have so many fantastic plants that visitors won't mind a bit of water missing in the pond. In fact it makes an interesting story, that even in the best organised gardens, problems occur due to weather etc...

It's probably only the Royal Family that have perfect gardens but both the ones I went to, the weather absolutely chucked it down! At least I usually get the weather right for my visitors :)

If it rains for your visitors, the pond will fill up. Lol.

Nice plant . Is it tender?

I have just planted a Cestrum Elegans (dark pink flowers) and mine seems to be growing well, putting on plenty of flowers and new growth. This one is also beautiful, I love the delicate yellow, will it tolerate shade??

Rbtkew - it's probably the hardiest of the cestrums. Prune it back hard in spring, else you finish with a large ungainly mass. I have even known a young plant shoot from the roots after being killed to the ground

Andrea - the book says give it full sun but it may take a bit of shade in a mild spot like yours. Mine is in a west-facing border but gets the sun from mid morning until sunset

hello andrew
do you have a picture of a seedling
i dont know if you saw my previous post were i had reused some clean looking compost from my tomatoes last year for cestrum seeds and a hell of a lot of things came up.
i kept the ones in the middle of each pot and am not sure if they are cestrum.
i cannot find a picture of one on the internet and may send for seed and start again ditching these.
is parqui the most scented one do you think

It's no good asking me about scent because I don't have much of a sense of smell. It's supposed to have quite a nice scent in the evenings but not in the day
