The Old Palm Canyon in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA

This old palm canyon was planted by the famous, late horticulturist -- Kate Session in 1915. Palm species Brahea brandegeei - San Jose Hesper Palm, Brahea edulis - Guadaloupe Palm and Brahea armata - Mexican Blue Palm.

It is called Palm Canyon because there a canyon below these palms...and there's hundred of palm in the canyon.
