oh what a shame its awful when you loose them, they become one of the family. We have one like that his name is Chippy. He was originaly my husbands fathers who passed away only a couple of years ago, he was a lover of koi. As we had just got our pond up and running mum asked if we would have her fish as she did not want to keep the pond as it was alot of worry for her. so we adopted chippy and some friends and they are all doing fine.
