It was actually raining when I took this, and I was partly hidden under my green brolly - perhaps that's why I managed to get so close! Isn't he just lovely? I know some people don't like squirrels in their gardens, but we love him. We have two or three that visit regularly but one of them hasn't yet worked out how to get the nuts out and prefers to hang from the bird feeder.
