Penstemon not sure which one.

I have had many penstemons over the years, but this is the only one left. I love the colours.

Yes, bornagain, there are a few with similar colouring to this. I had one(which I now seem to have lost) which was called something 'Grape'

Check out Amy's recent photo of Penstemon "Sour Grapes" ...

I've tried to find the photo Terra, but I'm not very good at using the site yet (bit of a technophobe) but I googled sour grapes and they don't look like this one. I did have sour grapes a few years ago, but in a different part of the garden and like all my others, it eventually vanished. I blame the dreaded celandine which, incidently, I blame for everything even my neglect of the garden over recent years!

Hi Bornagain ~
If you put the word Amy in the google top right corner of this page, and click on search, it will take you to Amy's pages and you can click on Amy's photos. I've asked Amy to look at your pic here. Terra x

Hi Paul, thanks, I did compile a list once upon a time of all my plants....in the dim and distant past....ah well. Heavenly blue is another contender, there's probably a few like it. Whichever it is it's long flowering and hardy and I'm glad it survived:-)
