Still is Mageth - ok sure you d rather not have holes in the leaves but still an attractive combination.

the poor hosta got a double whammy........the bird feeder is right above and the pot is now full of seedlings !

We have loads of thrushes so few snails but loads of poo on the leaves .

Havnt seen a thrush for ages. We do put out lots of feed and try to plant for cover, we get all the usual towny birds, had a woodpecker once, a sparrow hawk, loads of tits and sparrows, big fat stupid pigeons( sorry but they are) and robins. any ideas on how to attract thrushes?

Mageth...our thrushes love sultanas !

Bonker-The last time I put out sultanas it was in the form of a christmas cake. we had a drunk pigeon crash into the window....... had to put him under a shrub to sleep off the effects! I will try the ones that havnt been soaked in brandy!
