Cornus Kousa 'Cherokee' (Cornus kousa 'Cherokee')

This form of flowering dogwood that reaches eight feet by four, specifically chosen to fit a small gap between a rhododendron and an enkianthus in my garden!

Hi Andrew, sorry to come so late, but I'm looking for a lovely flowering smallish shrub/tree as a specimen and thought the cornus' might provide the answer. Does it flower prolifically and does it colour well in autumn and does it make a nice looking shrub when not in flower? I have also thought about the floridas:-)

It's a bit early to say as I've only had this for twelve months. The expert is Karan at Junker's Nursery in Somerset - their website is www.junker.co.uk and she is very helpful with advice by e-mail
