I have taken in many unwanted cats and dogs during the past 27 years, but now only have one remaining pet, my dog, Buddy. He was born on the floor by my computer in 1999, and still sleeps in the same place, which is near my bed.

Buddy's father was w a Golden Retreiver, and his mother was a Rottweiler. She refused to have her 12 puppies in the special room with a breeding box, but insisted on having them by my feet at the computer.
