Yes he was very friendly Irish - but not very well kept I'm afraid - I have another photo of him that shows this but I didn't want to post it ....

You probably felt terrible walking away and leaving him there...I know I would... He's a working fellow, by his looks. I love their velvety muzzles...and their sweet deep brown eyes!

He really was a sweet animal - next time I'm walking there, I'll know to take something edible with me !!
