small pond

This is the small pond we did, with all the plants in place, still have to get some small stones to decorate around the pond tho. The plants i put here are all winter rose various colours, also other shrubs and pansies and rock plants for smaller decoration, i added a dwarf figure wishing well and a wishing dwarf with a pair of boots made from stone will be adding more plants soon tho i hope.

thank you hun, it could look better as pond is all awkward and to be honest ruined, i may take it out and put liner down then refill liner it would look so much better then, but i has to wait for a baby frog i have in their to grow up and leave.

I love the wavy edges of the pond, mine is round tho', so had to buy big stones instead. I've interplanted with aubretia and ajuga bugle. Can't wait for it to grow! We used to have frogs coming every year to our garden and dutifully took them to the village pond. Now of course, there isn't one in sight! Lol!
Awww, baby frog? No, I agree, you'll have to wait til it has left the pond, but it will come back next spring looking for its breeding ground tho'!
