Holboellia latifolia (female flowers)

Holboellia latifolia (female flowers) (Holboellia latifolia)

Climber to fifteen feet for sun or part shade in a sheltered spot away from cold winds. Male and female flowers are carried on the same plant and sometimes followed by purple sausage-shaped fruit.
I planted this in early March - these are the female flowers but I haven't found any male ones yet

This is not very hardy - typically it will only take about -5C. But I bought it from Crug Farm who have hopes for it as the seed was collected at altitude. I have just ordered more fleece so it can be parcelled up come autumn
