They were already there, have just painted them with wood stain to smarten them up but a few are falling to bits so i'm not sure how much longer we'll keep them! Shame as the beetles love them and we've even seen a few stag beetles and one larvae (which was really ugly and looked like some sort of alien lol!)

It would be a pity if your garden became inhospitable to aliens... Lol.
I hope you find a way to preserve the wood blocks or get replacements because they're unusual and add charm to this corner..
