Alpinum II

This was my first pottery for alpins who like lime (PH-9!!). It contents: Pulsatilla vulgaris (alba), Adonis vernalis (not flowering), 2 different Gypsophila repens, Leontopodium souliei, L. alpinum, Thymus citriodorus (not specific for that), Euphorbia cyparissias, Potentilla tabernaemontani. And in the little edge on the right, sitting in the moss - very tiny - Asplenium ruta-muralis. The last 3 I took from Nature.Between all I sew Papaver alpinum. It´s narrow? Yes.

I love your love of alpines. These are small potted mountain cultures! Wonderful.

Love the way they stay the right size for the container they are in, it's amazing.

I think, not. Then I´ll have to part them...

Guess I worded my comment wrong....lol. What I meant to say was, the smaller the pot, the smaller the plant seemed to grow, the larger the pot the larger the plant would get. I thought it was great that your plants don't seem to be outgrowing your stone trough.

ok, Flower-crazy. But it´s full already. The Gypsophila takes over and the edelweiss´too.

It looks perfectly proportioned. Wish I had your talent with container gardening.
